Welcome to Jalopy Jr. ! Jalopy Jr. UKULELE CLUB! TUESDAYS - 3:30 to 4:30 (September 9th - December 16th) Ages 5-9 Teacher: Kyle Tigges NO CLASSES 9./23, 11/4, or 11/11 We will round out this 11 week session with Sweet Song Share Show on Tuesday December 16th at 5:30! 25% sibling discounts available! We are focused on building community and teaching folk and traditional music. We have a place for every level of learner and every financial situation. Along with the Fabulous Jalopy Theatre and School of Music, we offer private and group classes to people of all ages from newborn to adult. The experienced teachers at Jalopy are here to encourage musical exploration through singing and playing instruments like fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, percussion, and more! Join Mr. Simon for a fun-filled Fall concert at the Jalopy Theatre in Brooklyn on Sunday, November 2nd at 11am! After his successful album launch this past April, Mr. Simon returns to the stage with more songs from his beloved debut album Beep, Moo, Koala and a Choo Choo , plus some special tunes to celebrate the Fall season. TUESDAY MORNING MUSIC at JALOPY! ALL AGES WELCOME Drop-in $25 per family (PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE) 9:30am - 10:15am 10:30am - 11:15am We'll be sharing songs with folks of all ages in this cross-generational singalong. Come down to Jalopy to sing, dance, or even just to hang out and listen. We'll keep things easy-going as we slowly get the music flowing again. $25 per family (PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE) Please reach out with any questions and ideas: kyle@jalopytheatre.org KYLE TIGGES: Kyle Tigges is musical artist and activist born and raised in middle America who is currently residing in New York. You can find Kyle happily sharing a wide mix of upbeat and bittersweet tunes with folks of all ages in and around the NYC and Hudson Valley areas. He is primarily a singer and guitar/banjo player but he enjoys fumbling around on harmonica, drums, and fiddle. Kyle Tigges has become a go-to musician for live music for many folks and frequents an eclectic mix of vibrant venues in his community. Keeping music local and bringing people together with music is one of the most powerful ways to boost environmental awareness and create the kind of change that is sustainable and regenerative as we work together towards a healthy, beautiful planet.

More About the Event: Join Suzi Shelton, Esther Crow, and other children's musicians for their 2nd Annual FUNdraiser to help feed NYC families. As family musicians, we wanted to partner with a local organization helping to feed hungry families in the New York area. With a 90,000 Sq Foot warehouse in the Bronx, Food Bank for NYC helps deliver food to families in all five boroughs of New York City. We are thankful to Jalopy Theatre for their partnership and commitment to community events that bring people together, and for embracing this important cause.
